Our recipe for wellbeing

Sharing good food with family, friends and colleagues is one of life’s great pleasures and can be the basis of some of our happiest memories. However, it can sometimes be difficult to find the time to prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks, given everything going on in our busy lives. Yet, eating well can actually help us better cope with the pressures of modern life and is vitally important to our overall health and wellbeing.

Luckily for us, colleagues from right across the business have given us a kick start, with more than 210 healthy and nutritious recipes submitted by David Jones’ employees during the 2015 and 2016 Healthy Recipe competitions. 

From quick and easy snacks to slow cooked stews; on-the-go breakfasts to energy enhancing lunches; nutritious midweek dinners to scrumptious desserts, our contributors have covered it all. So if you’re looking for a tried-and-true family dinner or an exciting new recipe for a special dinner party, look no further.

Coupled with regular physical activity and healthy personal relationships, this is our recipe for wellbeing.
