Assistant Sales Manager Development

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will learn all aspects of retail supervision through a combination of hands-on experience and structured training.

As an Assistant Sales Manager the program ensures you gain the skills and knowledge required to be successful in your role as a supervisor.

On completion of the program, each participant has the potential to progress to a key Management (In Training) role in Sales, Logistics, Visual Merchandising or Loss Prevention within our stores.     

Foundations of Management

Our Foundations of Management program builds our future leaders.

As a newly appointed Manager (In Training), the program will build your leadership capability and assist you to effectively manage your business. The program is facilitated by key David Jones executives so that you learn from those who truly understand the business. In addition to this your line manager will support you in transferring your learning to the workplace.

On completion of the 12-month program, every manager has the opportunity to build an exciting and challenging management career with David Jones!
