Expert Advice: Racewear Trends

It's a well-known cliché that men and shopping do not mix. But at Vogue Fashion's Night Out (VFNO), held in Sydney on 3 September, there were all types of men looking at, trying on, and buying clothes at the David Jones Market St menswear store. 

Rallying shoppers with witty fashion advice and a glass of whisky was GQ editor-in-chief Nick Smith who hosted several styling workshops throughout the store, including a spring racing session with stylist of the moment, Romy Frydman.

From throwing out bon mots such as "To sock or not to sock is not a question for the races" and referring to a blue suit as "a suit with confidence," a boring shopping night it was most definitely not.
