On August 3rd we’re unveiling our new Bondi Junction Food Hall. Filled with delicious products from Australia and across the globe – and brand new instore dining experiences – we’ve created the ultimate food destination.

We’ve taken the instore dining experience and made it even more delicious. Consulting with Neil Perry on every step, from sourcing the highest quality ingredients to planning menus, we’ve made David Jones a destination for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stop by The Kitchen for a casual lunch, dine out in style at The Restaurant, or indulge your taste buds at our very own Oyster Bar. No time to sit down and stay? Why not grab a gourmet rotisserie chicken, or build your own salad at our Salad Bar for later. 

2. The black magic – Sensory Lab coffee

Love coffee as much as we do? We’ve officially partnered with Melbourne’s Sensory Lab Specialty Coffee Roasters to source and roast 100 per cent organic green coffee beans, creating our signature blends: David Jones Espresso Blend, David Jones Colombian Single Origin Espresso and David Jones Colombian Single Origin Filter. Brewed by our baristas, the perfect cup is just waiting for you.


3. The pick & mix ingredients list – dinner made (really) easy

No time to forage the supermarket in search of dinner? Take home one of our meal deals instead. The ultimate in convenience, these tasty offerings are perfectly portioned and prepared – a cooking show counter spread of your choosing, including one protein, your choice of two vegetable packs and – of course – delicious wine. 


4. The heaven scents – a florist dreams are made of

Stop and smell the roses at our world-class florist, offering vintage blooms, modern flowers, and every variety in-between. With each stem selected by an in-house team of horticultural pros, our hand-tied bouquets are guaranteed to make your day.


5. The (really) fresh prepared fruit, vegetables, salads and dressings

Your answer to the urban farmers’ market, our fresh produce department is your source of all things fresh; no early wakeup call required. Choose to buy your fruit and vegetables whole (straight from harvest), simply prepared (peeled, chopped, diced), or ready-to-cook (served with butter, sauces, and dressings). From fresh watermelon to zucchini noodles to barley, cranberry and edamame salad, we’ve put the fancy in fruit and veg, and kept it all low-fuss.


6. The lunch orders

Our range of freshly prepared sandwiches pack a flavour punch and are made daily and ready-to-go. Try our pastrami with Emmental cheese, perfectly piquant pickles with peppery rocket on fresh light rye, finished with free-range egg mustard mayo. Enjoy a sandwich and bottle of still or sparkling water for $10.


7. The real deal

David Jones Food Italian Range


Our Italian partners have worked closely with us to curate the David Jones range of authentic Italian pasta, pasta sauces, antipasto, olive oils and vinegars. Think 100 per cent bronze die-cut durum wheat pasta (all the better to hold the sauce), premium canned tomatoes that are firm, fleshy and full of late-summer flavour, and pasta sauces made from the finest ingredients. They’re the perfect pantry staples whether you’re whipping up dinner for one, or a fabulous feast for friends and family. Bellissimo!

Our food for later range of ready-made meals have been deliciously crafted using the finest produce with a freshness that’s second to none. Whether it’s a quick lunch, a meal for one or dinner for the whole family, we’ve done the hard work for you. With dishes including Chicken and Bacon Carbonara and delicious Beef Lasagne, we suspect you’ll be coming back for seconds. 



9. The sweet talk – Serendipity Ice Cream now open at David Jones

Made with free-range eggs and northern NSW dairy, and handcrafted in small batches in partnership with Serendipity Ice Cream, you’ll love our indulgent creations. Try Salted Caramel and Milk Chocolate Ice Cream enrobed in Belgian milk chocolate and sea salt or Espresso, Dark Chocolate and Almond Ice Cream dipped in Belgian dark chocolate and almonds.
