In each issue of JONES we aim to create a narrative thread which links all the stories together. This issue the theme is nostalgia: get ready to embrace new season styles inspired by the past. So, it’s womenswear with a menswear sensibility – think Garbo, Dietrich and Hepburn, who all had attitude and a point of view. Simple shirting punctuated by extra-long sleeves and eccentric accents. Wrapped, off-the-shoulder, or tied tight around your waist. We dare you to dream as the collections hot off the runway in Paris – red, passionate and strong – steal our hearts.

We spend time with model, businesswoman and YouTuber Karlie Kloss or “Klossy” as she is affectionately known by her many followers. Watching her at work at our cover shoot I got it – the photographer moved around her, not the other way around. Every movement was a cover shot! Best of all, she was a dream to work with – generous and down-to-earth. Make sure you download the free JONES app to catch our mini movie of Klossy in
action on the day.

We also chat exclusively to designers Ryan Lobo and Tommy Hilfiger and legendary creative director Grace Coddington. And that’s not all this season: interiors are rich in detail – super moody and with a timeless elegance; our muse is Bianca Jagger; and we reveal some seriously epic
places to visit (I actually hesitated to share mine!). This blending of old and new blossoms in its details. It is diverse in references and packed with
conversations…all with integrity at its heart. Follow the thread and enjoy.
