On August 21st 2014, a J BRAND denim campaign was shot in New York based on the concept of the Little Black Jean.
A progression from the Little Black Dress, the Little Black Jean is a modern essential to a woman’s wardrobe signifying the new rule that every woman should own a pair of Little Black Jeans in their wardrobe.
The campaign, shot within a New York-based music studio was inspired by the theme of a “Midnight Muse”- an influencer. The result, a fashion shoot with an an editorially stylized direction, played out by David Jones ambassador Montana Cox.
A rock bohemian, yet chic elegance is the message behind this stylized approach to the Little Black Jean campaign. This transpired by styling the Little Black Jeans with high-end brands such as Equipment and Saint Laurent.
The Little Black Jean is the new essence of fashion, encouraging timeless style and effortless cool through a capsule of five different styles that will appeal to every woman.
