My Top 5 Places in Paris

Paris in spring has inspired many a creative soul. Badlands blogger Talisa Sutton recently spent time in the City of the Love and here, she shares some of her unmissable spots in town.

1. The Louvre

"An incredibly grand collection of art in the heart of Paris. See the famous Mona Lisa and take in the beauty of the outdoor pyramid during sunset. Make sure you also leave time for a walk around the Tuileries during the afternoon."

2. Palais-Royal

"The beautiful entrance court of the palace faces opposite the Louvre and is one of my favourite spots in the city. Check out a few of the boutiques, grab a coffee from Café Kitsune and sit in the garden. Don’t forget to take a quick snap before you leave."

3. Le Marais

"One of my favourite areas to stay in Paris, I love all the little back streets and variety of cafes, restaurants and boutiques. One of my favourite spots is Rue des Rosiers, the perfect place for a spot of shopping followed by a Nutella crepe at La Droguerie."

4.  Pont Alexandre III

"A trip to Paris wouldn’t be complete without a stroll across one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. Start from the Champs-Élysées side of the Seine and cross over to Les Invalides, on to the Eiffel Tower."

5. Jardin du Luxembourg

A stunning 17th century park where you can sit on those iconic pistachio green chairs and watch the world go by.
