The message is clear: colour is back! The collective consciousness can breathe a sigh of relief; even the whitest teeth can look stained when worn with brown lipstick. Dark berry shades can be a washout unless you perfect a balancing act between bronzer and illuminiser. But reds, pinky corals and tangerine act like a cheerleader for your pace, energizing and lifting (minus the pompoms).
Audrey Hepburn once said, “There is a shade of red for every woman.” So go ahead and choose yours. Just test colours on the tip of your index finger – that’s the reddest part of your hand and you can easily hold it against your mouth to see how it looks.
