We've all heard of botanicals; but what do they actually do?

So what are botanicals anyway?

Essentially, they are natural ingredients that come from the extracts and oils of plants and flowers in their purest form. They’re nothing new, and we’ve using them for thousands of years. But now, thanks to modern science, we know how to use – and combine – them better.

There are lots of oils and extracts that do lots of different things. Some fight blemishes, others regenerate skin cells, and a whole bunch of them cleanse and/or moisturise.

Keep reading to learn more about the crème de la crème of botanical ingredients, and their beauty benefits.
