As a general overview, the interview process is to designed to allow us to understand what you will bring to the role, and may include the following:
Phone Interview - This is a 10-15 minute discussion with one of our HR team to review your application and aspirations and confirm key details in your application.
Video Interview - This style of interview allows you to let your individual and unique personality shine. It is a great tool that allows you to complete your interview anywhere, anytime.
Group Interview - This is a 2 hour group assessment, where you are invited to participate in 3 group activities, in line with our David Jones competencies.
1 on 1 - HR Interview – You may be invited to attend a one-on-one interview with a member of our HR team. This is a behavioural based interview in which you will be required to provide work related examples or specific situations that you’ve dealt with in the past. You should allow 1 hour for the interview.
1 to 1 - Line Manager Interview – You may be invited to attend an interview with the Line Manager. They will ask you more specific technical behavioural based questions and in turn they will provide you further information on the position and team environment. Depending on the position there may be a requirement to meet with the next level Line Manager.
Throughout the David Jones recruitment process, the HR representative will keep you informed of each stage of the application and the steps required. Along the way they will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
