• Will I be able to use my David Jones Storecard, David Jones American Express Card or David Jones American Express Platinum Card in the David Jones Wellington store?

  Yes, Card Members will be able to use their Card to transact in the David Jones Wellington store. However a currency conversion fee will be charged for transactions made on your Card in the Wellington store. The currency conversion fee is 3% of the converted amount.

• How many Reward Points will I earn?

  David Jones Storecard Members will earn 1 Reward Point for every Australian dollar equivalent spent on their Card within the David Jones Wellingotn store.
  
  David Jones American Express Card Members will earn will earn 2 Reward Points for every Australian dollar equivalent spent on their Card within the David Jones Wellington store.

  David Jones American Express Platinum Card Members will earn will earn 4 Reward Points for every Australian dollar equivalent spent on their Card within the David Jones Wellington store. 
  

• Will I be able to take advantage of special payment plans currently available to me in Australian stores, such as Fashion Pay Later, Christmas Deferred Payment and Interest Free options?

  No, unfortunately we will not be able to offer our deferred payment or Interest Free instalment credit options in the David Jones Wellington store at this time.

• Can I pay my David Jones Storecard or David Jones American Express Card account at the Wellington store?

  No, unfortunately Card Members will not be able make payments on a David Jones American Express Card account or a David Jones Storecard account in the Wellington store. The standard account payments options will continue to be available.

• Can I use contactless or Apple Pay in the Wellington store?

  Currently contactless will not be available in our Wellington store. When making purchases using your Card you will need to insert your Card in the terminal and enter your PIN. The Apple Pay function will also not be available in our Wellington store at this time.
  

• What Card Member benefits can I enjoy in the Wellington store?

  Card Members can continue to enjoy the following instore benefits:
  

  Complimentary Gift Wrapping and Complimentary Standard Delivery (within New Zealand) will be available for purchases made on a David Jones American Express Card or the David Jones Storecard. Delivery excludes gift cards, hampers and fresh food, Wine Club, Gift Registry and large items.

  Complimentary Alterations will be available on women’s and men’s apparel for purchases made on a David Jones American Express Platinum Card.

  Complimentary Priority Delivery will be available within the Wellington metropolitan area for purchases made in the Wellington store on a David Jones American Express Platinum Card. Goods must be under 25kg and no larger than 1m x 1m x 1.5m. Excludes orders placed online, gift cards, hampers and fresh food, Wine Club, Gift Registry purchases.

  Shopping Bag Concierge will be available at the Customer Service Centre for Card Members with a David Jones American Express Platinum Card

  Priority Appointments at the Personal Shopping Suite on level 1 of the Wellington store will be available for David Jones American Express Platinum Card Members

   

• Can I access Card Member Instant Rewards offers that are available in Australia in the Wellington store?

  No, currently Card Member Instant Rewards will not be available in our Wellington store.

• Can I use my David Jones Gift Card or Membership Rewards points to purchase New Zealand dollar David Jones Gift Cards?

  No, you will only be able to redeem your points for Australian dollar David Jones Gift Cards (for use in Australia) at this time.
  

• Can I return an item that I purchased on my Card in the Wellington store to a store in Australia? Or vice versa?

  No, items purchased in one country cannot be returned in another country.

• Will I be able to make purchases over the phone with a David Jones Card and have these delivered free of charge to my address?

  Any phone purchases made on your Card through our David Jones Wellington store can be delivered free of charge to a New Zealand postal address.

• Can I choose to upgrade my Card instore at David Jones Wellington?

  No, at this time we will not be issuing David Jones Cards within New Zealand. Australian citizens or permanent residents over 18 years with an Australian residential address can apply online via the Australian website or alternatively visit one of our stores in Australia.

• I have an American Express Card; can I transact within the David Jones Wellington store?

  Yes, other debit, credit and cash forms of payment will be accepted, with conditions stipulated by your Card issuer.
