• In the interests of continuing to generate value for all shareholders and given the industry movement away from offering shareholder discounts, David Jones has decided to end its Shareholder Rewards Program.
  
  
• However, given the current difficult consumer conditions at present and to give shareholders ample notice, your shareholder discount will continue for one further Christmas and one further Clearance period such that all purchases made on your David Jones Shareholder Storecard between now and 1 February 2009 will continue to receive shareholder discount of 2%.
  
  
• No new Shareholder Rewards members will be enrolled from 24 September, 2008.
