How does David Jones contribute to the community?In 2003 David Jones developed a donations policy following market research conducted on our customer base. This research indicated that the charities our customers value the most were in the areas of children’s and women’s health. To enable more meaningful support, David Jones has concentrated on a number of primary charities in these areas, including an ongoing commitment to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and The Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia (CCIA). From time to time David Jones also considers it important to provide substantial assistance over and above its normal donation policy and therefore may make extra contributions to varying charities within a financial year.
